And you won't face a team in the top 25 until the regional finals, and that's only if Prosper (24) keeps winning. And seeing what you already did to them, I think it's safe to say that you won't face any kind of a challenge until the semifinals.

Wish we had some say in the matter but alas they won't listen to us.

Interesting that La Grange went 4-5 with all 5 losses to top teams: Giddings; Caldwell; Navasota;Gonzales and Sealy. While Giddings and Caldwell were blow-outs the Leps were in the other three games until the final minutes. The Leps had a rough schedule to say the least.

Funny you should mention them. When they won state in 05 the coach was watching us some to. One of my friends is good friends with the coach of HP and he thought our 05 team would have made at least the state semi's against all of HP's opponents that year. Kyle just laughed and then the guy said he was serious.

It's only 127 miles between you guys and Gilmer...that would be a good preseason matchup.

I recall at a booster club meeting in Vernon that our head coach was having trouble scheduling teams -- I can't even imagine what Celina has to do to get a pre-district.

(This was a couple of years ago -- Vernon scheduled Abilene Wylie whom I assume had the same problem).

maybe rematched with Little Elm or Lake Dallas or Pinkston?

all playoff caliber 4A teams--would be good practice for 2012 or 2014 or so
