I was watching it when it happened and I thought it was good all along. I was amazed they initially called it no good.

It just hit the top of the main support pole at a funny angle right behind the crossbar and jumped back into the endzone. The funny angle was caused by it first hitting the left upright. I've only seen it happen once before, and thats been many years ago.

FYI FG would score under NCAA (and Tx HS) rules as ball hit something out of bounds after going through the uprights so it is dead at that moment. Does not matter where it goes after that
