For Liberty Hill fans an Alternate Route to Hanby

I'm pretty sure every set of directions to Hanby will tell you take I-35 to Hillsboro and then take I-35E to I-20 and then get on 635 into Mesquite....well traffic on I-35E is a NIGHTMARE from basically Waxahachie all the way to I-20...

one alternate route is to instead take the I35W split at Hillsboro and go to Alvarado and hop on Hwy 67 which will run you into I-20 just a little West of I-35E and I-20...but it may save you a little time depending on how bad traffic is...it is a little out of the way but usually less traffic..

My motto is avoid I-35 at ALL costs. :D Would either of these work if we go through Corsicana and take I-45 to I-20?

Would it make sense to cut over to Ennis at Italy or even take 77 up to Italy and over to Ennis?

Yes you could cut over to Ennis on Hwy 34 in Italy....34 will run you into I-45 where you can that north to I-20 and then loop around to 635

i went that way yesterday -- 35 from Waco to Hillsboro to Dallas, to I20 to Mesquite ... not one delay
