Did all three teams in your district advance to round two? If so post them here.

District 29 3A:

Gonzales D1
Cuero D2
Palacios D2

Go Gobblers, Sharks and Apaches!

Someone might have already posted this, but I haven't seen it. I'm too busy trying to get the house ready for Thanksgiving and my son's surgery (Monday morning in San Antonio).

You guys keep him in your prayers. He will have a torn ACL repaired. He is a senior so this is it. He is #51 in the Cuero Seniors after Goliad thread.

Combined score of 124-42. Not to take anything away from those 3 teams but district 22 is probably the weakest in region III. Only 1 team with a winning record and one with a .500 record. The rest have losing records. 19-3a is pretty bad also.

I know what he feels like...I've had two....what are they using to repair it? Hamstring, patella, or cadaver?

22 the weakest? are you sure? their posters assured that they were just about the "strongest" thing around. :D their theme was that strength beats speed. well we saw what happens if you have both. :)

i am pretty sure u have 22 mixed up w/ another district, i am one of the few posters, maybe the only poster from 22-3a (teams include liberty, coldspring, tarkington, cleveland, shepard, and splendora) and i have said all along that theya re one of the worst districts in the state, not just region 3....the only surprise last weekend was that it appeared cleveland gave kirbyville a game since they only got beat by 2 touchdowns.....

I predict the same outcome when District 29 sweeps District 32

I spoke with TAMUGRAD today, mid-afternoon. She said he was taken into surgery right on schedule early this AM and after a brief stay in recovery he was taken to a room. He was doing well and anxious to get home. The doctor was supposed to check in on him later this evening and if all is AOK, he'd be released to go home. Hopefully, they are headed home right now.....:) Here's hoping he gets some comfortable rest and is able to make the trip to Corpus Friday.. ;)

Even if he is on crutches, I am laying money that he will be there for the coin flip.
