Tech is gonna make this game go so long the OU QB will have time to recover from his concussion before it is over.

The Sooners only have 38yds offense versus Techs 265yds. Harrell is 23-38 237 2TDs 1Int with 2 rushes 12yds and 1 rushing TD. Crabtree has 7 catches 120yds and 1TD and it's not even halftime yet.

This is hilarious. Blow U is getting killed now we wont have to see them make the NC game.

If BlowU gets beat tonight and so far it's looking like it could happen and gets beat next week. Texas would have to beat the Aggies and they would be representing the Big 12 South.

Lets just say this happens, then Texas beats KU in the Big 12 Championship. Where do you think UT would end up?

I guess that they might actually have a case for the NC game then, although its not likely to happen exactly like it would need to.

Puts a little more on the Texas/Texas A&M game now besides pride & rivalry.

Texas wins the South if Ok State can knock off OU in the Bedlam Series. **edit below**

OU had so many chances tonight down the stretch. Give Tech some credit too. They won the game. 3A boys Manuel Johnson & Darcel McBath did well too.

Correction:

Could be a 3-way tie in the South if:
A&M beats Texas
OK State beats OU...

then OU/Texas/OK State would all be 5-3 in league play (head-to-head OU beat Texas, Texas beat OK State, OK State would have beaten OU in that scenario).

Some kind of complicated formula would be used at that point to determine representative for Title Game. Not sure how it works right now.

Our defense played lights out tonight. Yeah, I know, 27 points, but they came up huge 3 different times late in the 4th quarter. I just wish they could've played like this all year. I think Crawford, our fr. RB sealed the starting spot from Woods. Heard that Shannon has been slacking in practice and is now on the scout team. Yeah, you thought it was long watching on TV, you should have been there. I looked at my phone and there was 5 min left in the first half and it was like 9 o'clock.

When one team alone throws the ball 72 times, it is gonna be a LONG game. NCAA needs to look at clock rules (like stopping clock for every 1st down).

Tech won it, congrats.

things could be interesting. But i don't see OSU beating OU. They have the ability, but unless bradford doesn't play, OU will just be out for blood and win.

but theres still a shot.

It's in Stillwater, & OK State has done very well vs. OU the past 5 years. It could happen, & OU's pass defense is very suspect too. Ranked pretty low in NCAAs.

Bradford's health is the key.

fun times tonight in Lubbock. IMO, the game wasn't as close as the final scored made it look. Tech's defense stepped up multiple times in the 4th when it mattered...something we haven't seen in a long time. BlowU got 2 nice TD's on a misread by the DB on 3rd and 14 (let the WR get behind him w/o help) and then going for (and completing) the Hail Mary on the first play of their possession when down 2 TD's with under a minute left. Long and short...Tech's defense was the difference. Holding BlowU to 34 carries for 106 yds (3.1/carry...same as Tech) was the difference in the game. Glad to see that somebody in Texas has a "signature win" (channeling G$$ ;);) )

I'll get to the pics on my camera in the next few nights...here's one that I like though:

Tech won it, congrats. No way. That would change the game too much just like the clock rules they changed last year and changed back this year. Don't shorten all the games just because a few teams throw the ball a lot and make the game longer.

Hmmm...I suspected someone would try to bring that up.

Here is my reply. Tech would have beat OU with their backup QB.

If a team doesn't prepare (and that includes backup QBs) then they flat out suck. Are you saying OU sucks? I'm not. :D

Tech got after 'em an whipped 'em. Plain and simple. :p

Also, this game should make A&M feel a little better. Turns out Tech was also a better team than OU this year.

Because 4 hour games are too long - ask the tv folks. NFL games last around 3:05ish. Made for tv, commercials, etc. I love the game, don't get me wrong, but a 4 hour regular game (no OTs) is just too long for many reasons. Then you have overlaps. etc. & that creates problems. NFL has this one right & does not stop the clock for 1st downs.

The rules that were changed back were stupid. I did not like those & obviously others got them changed back anyway.

And, anybody with a pulse beats the Ags right now. Dead Fran Walking...

And, Tech was the better team last night, not overall. Body of work counts more in the long run. Are you saying Colorado is better than OU...or K-State than Texas? You play a full season.

That cut by Crabtree when he left defenders in his wake was just sick on the long catch & run. He is a beast plain & simple. Enjoy him for 1 more year (RS, now, next year = NFL).

I know, that sucks. Once Graham graduates next year, bye bye Crabtree. Lord willing he'll end up with a star on his helmet. I know that's very wishful thinking, but MAN, would that be awesome having him and TO on the same team on Sundays. . . maybe in a perfect world.
