I didnt know they still had the OLD carpet TURF....ugh
Dalhart wins the coin toss, defers to the 2nd half
kickoff goes out of bounds, Dalhart to rekick again. Steers take the kickoff back to the 32
9:47 3rd and 8 on the Graham 42
Dalhart breaks up a pass, McCoy under throws Cox deep Graham to punt
Dalhart throws a pass for a 9, off setting penalties. replay the down
correction, penalty was against Graham 2nd and inches
1st down. Dalhart rusn for 3 on the next down. Penalty Graham, 2nd down and 2 Dalhart
1st down Dalhart, down to there own 42, 6:42 left in the 1st

Dang I have graham picked to win but an upset would be nuts.
Graham has been a second half team all year long.
From what it sounds, McCoy isnt really throwing the ball well. Had Cox open deep 1 time and under threw him pretty good. The Defense is playing good, that 1 big run almost bit them in the butt.

The score is not surprising, but the way it got that way is.
Does Graham play to the level of their competition?
They played a tough non-district schedule, but IP played them really tough on the road, they get beat by Vernon at home, beat Burk on the road and now this. Just funny, because I think the game last year against Dalhart was a close game at halftime as well.
I guess a win is a win though.
Vernon should handle Perryton for a 6-3A sweep.

KTA..His last name isnt spelled Louhaun, it is Lujan =), wish someone would of told u, a little less typing..but yea the score doesnt really indicate how close the game was, Grahams D is pretty good, we hung around for 3 Q's and then in the 4th just got man handled by there D, but all in all a good game to watch, hope to see yall next year.
This game was a great D battle for 3+ Qtrs. When Graham had the lead in the 4th, Dalhart had to start taking a few more chances and came up dry. Graham kept Dalhart pinned on their end of the field a lot. Turning that into short field 4th qtr opportunities.
A lot of people compared Graham to Canyon. NO WAY. Talent level maybe, but Graham was much more disciplined and fundamental.
The one fumble at the end of the 3rd could have been costly, but the Graham D stood tough.
