Wimberley Lady Texans 2007 3A Vball State Champs!!

Three State Championships in 3 years have been brought home to Wimberley by our athletes. This is truly our 'Golden Years" for sports, and we should all take a moment and breathe it all in. We are blessed beyond belief. On a personal note, my family (my brother and sisters kids) have played a big role in this run, and we are unbelievably proud of each of them. It doesnt get any better than this!!

And yes, Monahans was more than we could handle...well, almost anyway. They shouldnt hang their heads, they have 10 championships to their name!!!!

First Congrates Wimberly.
Wimberly did not win 3 State game in a row yet. Only 2006 & 2007
Monahans has only won 9 State games but has been to the finals a few more times.

He was talking about ALL sports. 2 in VB, 1 in FB

They have had a good run 1999, 2001,2002,2003,2006and 2007

It was a great year for vball and as i hate to say the last two years were supposed to be down years for our program but the coaching staff is absolutly great and turned them into state champs. I do not believe that we will lose state for the next 2-3 years as probably our best class ever is freshman right now so we should be a main stay in the state tournament for the next few years.
