FORNEY--Casey Bell threw for two touchdowns and ran for two more in leading Canton, to a 35-21 victory over Kaufman in a Class 3A Division II bi-district game at City Bank Stadium.
With the win, Canton (7-4) advances to play Pittsburg in the area round.
Bell completed 28 of 46 passes for 328 yards. He had a stretch of 10 straight completions in the first half including a 19-yard touchdown pass to Grant Franklin that helped Canton race out to a 15-0 lead.
Bell also threw a 40-yard touchdown pass to Trent Termin on fourth-and-15 play with :35 left in the half. It gave Canton a 22-7 halftime lead.
Kaufman (8-3) got as close as 29-21 in the fourth quarter after Hippo Perea scored on a pair of 1-yard runs. But Canton came right back, marching 56 yards in six plays to take a 35-21 advantage on a 4-yard touchdown run by Bell.

this game was boooooring, Kaufman was one of the least impressive playoff teams I have seen in a while - but I liked their uni's
