Ok so it all started about a month ago. My mom came to visit and gave my roommate and I a free coupon to Blockbuster. The coupon was good for 2 free rentals, popcorn, and coke. It did sounds too good to be true, but when informed that she received this from her boss, I assumed it was real. I was stoked about it all and I was finally going to use it today for my class social. I got to blockbuster this afternoon with my coupon in hand. As I approach the counter I hand the lady my coupon and I am given an akward look in exchange. She informs me that the coupon is a fraud and that if I wanted to rent movies, I would have to purchase them like everyone else. ROFL I felt so stupid. Leave it up to my mom to give me such false hope.
After I thought about it I sarted to remember a prank that went around a few years, and I thought this was it.
