Towns Playoff send off

Just passing thru Alice and didn't realize towns still do send off with firetrucks, Ambulance and police cars all them honking horns thru town as they lead the Coyotes out of town, didn't think this was done this early in playoffs.

We always have a bonfire the night before the first playoff game and then if we are lucky to continue we always just have a send off for the boys....no sirens, firetrucks, etc.

No, we have NOT had firetrucks, ambulances and police cars doing sendoffs period, with the exception of the state championship game.

Wylie does a sendoff every playoff game and has for as long as I can remember. It goes past the elementary school so you typically have the little kids out by the fences as the busses go by. Typically a fire truck/police escort but they've mixed it up...sometimes using classic car or motorcycle clubs that the parents belong to to escort the team out of town.

Gidding's send off just occurred. There were police cars and fire trucks surrounging the charter buses & equipment buses. Giddings has done this for each playoff game for quite some time. If we are lucky to continue one for several weeks, it gets crazier and crazier, like better than a parade at times.

In Sweetwater they always go by the elementary schools and Jr. high, and down Broadway, on their way out of town. Always lots of honking and handwaving and stuff. I'm not sure about fire trucks and police escorts or not, but yeah theres always a big send off before any playoff game. I'm sure the boys enjoy it.
