I'm definitely a "love to win" kinda guy. I don't like losing, but never have been the type of person to dwell on it for too long.

Honestly, there's been some games I've lost where I felt good because of the way we played. My senior year in HS, our summer league soccer team (I played for the Rockport club) wasn't anything special and were 5-6 going into a game against an undefeated team in Calallen. That Calallen team was made up of all the kids from the HS team, who were ranked in the top ten in the state, but they had to come from behind and beat us on penalty kicks.

I felt great after that loss.

I think it depends on the situation. If you go in as the underdog and you play what you feel is a good game and lose its not that painful. But it sure hurts when you are picked to win and you lose it.

I guess it all comes down to expectations.

With that being said I am a hate to lose kind of guy. I am a fairly humble winner but I am a disgraceful loser.

I don't mind getting beat but I don't like losing. As long as I have given my best (or the team I support), you can't ask for anything more.

Hate to lose more than I love to win.

Competitor in me can accept it if the other team/guy is simply better & the effort is there. Sometimes the wins are not enjoyed enough & the losses are anguished too much though.
