This game got ugly early and SA West just didnt have enough to hang with the Texans. Our running game worked well tonight and the offense is still improving but needs to cut down on penalties or they're gonna catch up to us down the road, but the refs also made some terrible calls. D looked sharp and we pretty much shut them down completely, except for a two long plays one on the starting D and one against the JV. Godd to see some JV kids getting to play and lead us down the field for a score at the end.

Refs were unbeleivable. found it funny how they called back 2 consecutive TD's on 2 plays and we ran the same play for the 3rd time and the QB kept it and we scored. No offense to any west campus fans here but I dont know how that Team made the playoffs let alone won a ball game. They had nothing..... we looked good. we ran the ball at will, for the first time all season, defense swarmed.... the passing game wasnt very sharp IMO, we rarely needed to pass for most of the game but when we did it was a little shaky, Barron missed some easy throws, one of them being an easy TD. but all in all it was a solid performance. This team is building some momentum and playing with reckless abandon right now and they are playing like that they have somethin to prove!
