Trade would've sent Kobe to Detroit in exchange for Rip Hamilton, Tayshaun Prince, Amir Johnson and a first-round pick. Apparently, it had been agreed on by both clubs, but Kobe didn't like it.

When you are a whinny cry baby like him and ask to be traded he should loose his veto power. Wish they would send him to Atlanta where he would never be heard from again.

 Why would he turn this down? He'd have ended up on a much better team in a much weaker conference.

A Much better team? WITHOUT Tayshaun and Rip? I'd veto it too...
