Port Lavaca Calhoun.

Was not impressed as I watched Beeville hand it to them last week.

On the other hand, the Trojans looked pretty salty.

On the other hand, the Trojans looked pretty salty. Beeville can be very explosive offensively, defensively they have given up some leads. Saw last year game vs Calallen and was suprised how much they improved from earlier in the year. Look for them to meet up with Calallen again this year.

Teams ive seen this year that hadnt seen in a while, Rio Hondo and Port Isabel(twice).

On the other hand, the Trojans looked pretty salty. was not impressed w/ PLC either....when Needville played them....can't understand how they have beat up on Ingleside the last two years. Says something about Ingleside's ability to stop a strong "up the gut" style of running game.

Ingleside=state semis, Needville=didn't even make the playoffs last year. Says something about how diff. teams matchup against like ops. and also about the competition level in some districts verses others.

Edited to add: Might also say something about PLC's ability to defend a spread O. I think in the two games PLC forced something like 8 turnovers against Ingleside? Don't know...just brain storming on the topic.

That would really suck! Greenville's stadium has an extremely small visitors side. IF THEY BOTH take care of business and this meeting does happen, I would think they would pick a bigger venue. From what I understand, Royse City has a very large following. I also KNOW Gilmer has a large following, usually 5,000+ .
