Should be a good game. The first one was pretty ugly, but it was opening night for both so it went about like you'd expect. Both teams are coming off losses last night. The Lakers should have a full roster tonight I believe as Evans and Butterfingers did play last night. Not sure that Crittendon will suit up though. I think he'll probably sit this one out.

The Rockets should win this one even after that tough loss they took last night in Memphis because we're still pretty sketchy on the road with all the young players we suit up.

Did Phil really just say on ESPN that he wants to apologize to cowboys, Texans, horses and anyone else that might be offended by his comments? The man makes a joke of his joke...LOL. That response was too funny.

Lakers 37-27 with 8 minutes left before the half. Farmar and Bynum are both having a good game thus far in limited minutes. Houston really needs Battier out there on the floor.

61-49 Lakers at the half.

TMac is hurt but the Rockets have came back in the 3rd quarter to make it a game....they think TMac may have tore a ligament in his shoulder, if he did then that pretty much figures...it was just a matter of time before him or Yao got hurt.....

Getting swiped at by Kwame will do that to ya. If nothing else Kwame isn't a guy you'd ever want to try and run over. Probably the most phsyically imposing player in the league right now. Built like a brick wall with hands of stone to match!

Is there one Rockets fan that is shocked to see him get injured? I don't think you can find even one that'd be surprised by this.

Rockets got out competed in the 1st half!

But they are out competing the Lakers in the 2nd half!

Out competed?

What the heck is the announcer talking about!?!

Sounds like someone who is spending too much time talking to Bill Walton.

Out competed sounds like a distant cousin of the word "athletical"...I've actually heard a high school football coach use that word in an interview too...lol

Final...93-90 Lakers.

From my point of view it was great to see Bynum come up with the rebound and free throws that became the game-winning points. Another step in the right direction for the next great Laker big man. It was a little step tonight for him, but I'll take it. Ugly 2nd half by both teams, but Houston fought hard and actually played better without McGrady.

That last play almost worked great, if rafer would have made a shot...

Rockets missed 16 free throws and shot only 35% from the field. Alston was 5-13, James 2-10, Yao 6-18 and even Wells was 7-19. The Rockets point guard shooting has been horrible, don't understand why Francis or Brooks haven't seen any action? They couldn't be much worse.

T-Mac has a strained elbow, due to a hit by Luke Walton. He is listed as day by day, but could be out a week.

Rockets missed 16 free throws... And Yao accounted for 4 or 5 of those. He's normally a 91% free throw shooter. Just had an off game.:(

But I'm going Saturday to the Phoenix game! I hope the back to back doesn't have them worn out.:hairpunk:
