I can remember in my teens in early 70s

it was always cold at high school games even in Oct

i remember second week in Nov

East Bernard played Wallis before Brazos cons. temps were down in the upper 30s

Went to UT-A&M game in Austin in 1974

Was Friday after Thanksgiving
a cold front came through and was in the 30s and gusty winds

We sat in upper deck and froze our butts off

Longhorns won 32-3

Horns had three touchdowns in first six minutes of the game
