Ingleside put a hurt back on CC West Oso back when I was in junior high (maybe the '92 season?). Can't remember the exact score, but it was somewhere around 70. I still remember cringing at that one.

I've seen 2 teams score 60+ in the same game.

Port Isabel - 63
Rice Consolidated - 61

Mind you, it was 4 OT, but still, both teams scoring in the 60s is something special.

due to your lack of capitalization, i don't know what "ots" means. if it means overtime, then no. that game did not go into 5 overtimes.

Sealy 82 - Newton 6

2nd round playoff game 1995 (and no, they were not trying to run it up. Sealy played everybody that traveled and scored just about everyway you can. KO return, punt return, fumble return, interception return, fumble in end zone among others. Newton's
Coach Barbay told us after the game he wasn't upset at us at all, but with his team for throwing in the towel.)

Sealy scored 82 in the playoffs at Sam Houston. I believe it was 1995. It was one of those games where everything bounced right for them and wrong for the other guys. They did everthing except punt on first down and the score just kept going up. Played a front seven composed of freshmen and JV on defense the last quarter and a half.

I can't remember any of these teams ever being 3A. I was born and raised in Ozona, many years ago.

Way back in the 60's Ozona beat Big Lake (Reagan Co.) by something like 84-6. I was there, but too many years ago to remember for certain.

I swear they were, maybe it was back in early 80's when only one team went. There were 4 or 5 ranked in the top 10 of that district.

I saw Celina score 44 points by the third play of the second quarter in the 05 playoff run. I think about 45 seconds had run in the second quarter. Against Bonham I think we scored 35 points in less than 10 plays in the first quarter. But then we always call off the dog. Of course even calling off the dogs we scored 72-0 against Nevada Community in the 05 season.
My old alma mater Bronte 76 - 0 against Miles in 78.

celina scored 42 points in the first quarter of a game i saw in henrietta in 1999

GA Moore called off the dogs after that, and the final score was 49-0

I witnessed the biggest playoff blowout ever in 2002

Everman beat Lake Dallas 78-0 in the bi-district playoffs

The game was 69-0 at the half...

Everman kicked 3 FG's in the second half for the final margin...to keep from scoring points they kicked field goals on first down everytime they got inside the 35....I think they were 3 out of 6 on field goals in the second half

I think that is still the state record for points scored in a quarter in 11 man football.

Here's the story from the all-time record for number of points scored by one team in a UIL playoff game....

they scored 50 points in the final quarter alone so Celina's 42 was no state record...
