After some thought, and nudging from others I have decided to grace the downlow with my presence once again. I do understand that my "bet" was quite stupid. Everybody does things in there lives that they regret....well this aint one of them. I still think Graham has the better team, and hope and PRAY that they match up with Vernon once again in the playoffs. Do I think Vernon is better then I first thought, yes and no. Do I actually respect them now..sure do.

To the mods who basically DID NOT want me back....all I can say is I love you to. Here is a picture that hopefully describes how much I love each and every one of you, especially you LHPM, and P4S

To the posters who DID NOT want me back, you guys are going to say "how can we trust your word" well you didn't trust it or respect it to begin with, so that was FAR from being a factor in my decision on coming back. If me coming back will ruin just a FRACTION of your day....im glad to be back. :D

To those who actually wanted me to come back how could I let some stupid bet that I made affect you? I really truly appreciate all the pm's you sent me.

A lot of people showed their "true color" while I was gone, but at least I know how everybody feels now....both good, and bad.

I would like to take this moment to pat myself on the back and welcome myself back to the downlow.....

Man, if AJ went through the washer because of this, there's no reason to cut KTJ any slack. AJ was a stand-up guy in every other facet of life and was honest to a fault.

I was never one of the ones who ragged on AJ, and likewise, I won't rag on KTJ. Personally, I like both of them and I've never had a problem with either, but if you were one of the ones who ragged on AJ for a "lack of integrity," then you should be consistent in your own integrity and do the same for KTJ.

I guess I really never did pay enough attention or wasn't around when that whole deal happened. It does sound like that fella caught a lot of flack, as well he should have.

I've said my piece and I'll be consistent on my part. I never ragged AJ, but told him he made a poor decision and will do the same with KTA. I've never Welshed on a bet here on the DL or anywhere else (you know this better than anyone, B) and think that goes hand-in-hand with your own integrity.

Now I've compromised my own integrity in another way here on the DL. I promised something to another poster that I never came through on (KAOrder), and I still regret that. KTA already knows that I think he made a poor decision (this is the second time I've brought it up in this thread, and that's plenty for me), but I won't hound him or anyone else about it from here on.

Like I said, doesn't mean I like him any less, just means he made a poor decision to come back. But you'll never hear another word from me on the subject. After what I did to KAO, I'd be throwing stones from my glass house anyways.

He needed a Mac operating system to get his laptop up and running and I told him I'd get it for him. I picked up the CD from a buddy of mine up here in Huntsville, then put off sending it and lost it before I knew what hit me.

I found it about half a year later and planned on sending it up, but never did. My buddy wound up needing it back and I never got around to sending it.

There was never any drama over it and KAO never said anything bad about it. He was classy through the whole thing, but it was still on my shoulders. I procrastinated, then lost the CD after moving a couple of times, then couldn't get it to him like I promised.

It's at Klein Memorial on Thursday, isn't it? I have a class from 6-9, but it's just in the Woodlands and usually lets out around 8. Less than half an hour from class.

Now that I know the situation better I feel like Im more able to respond to this. If your going to renig on your word you could at least come back quietly not come back talking about how your back to stay and if people dont like it too bad.

Your sig says the king is back well im pretty sure someone who cant keep their word isnt the king of anything. The king doesnt go behind everybodys back and team up with someone else to hijack something as sacred as the flag is to this website. The king would admit his team lost to Vernon and that Vernon was the better team on that night and not make a list full of excuses for why his team lost.

It has taken less then a day for your Im back and I dont care if you like it or not attitude to run tired with me. Its just a message board but if you act like this in life your not going to get very far.

This message board means entirely too much to you if you think you can ruin someones day by coming back. I asure you most people here dont let what happens on this board ruin their day. But the fact that you get so much joy out of trying to ruin peoples day and be the "3adownlow bad boy" shows a lot about your character and the life you lead. You know its funny, I had not posted on this board for almost 2 weeks but my name kept popping up. Not only did it keep popping up but they had a lot of responses to them. I figured I mind as well join in since I was a topic of a lot of yalls conversations.

Let me get this straight I didn't "hijack" the flag. If "my part" of it was soooo bad why did RM send it back to me? and if I had bad intentions why did I send it to Johnny 5 after I was done with it? I never once told yall “hey I had my son all weekend, that's why I didn't tell anybody” as an excuse did I? Because I knew it was going to blow up just like the way it did. Deal with yall all weekend or spend time with my son? Excuse me for not putting the flag on the top of my priority list. The fact of the matter is some of yall just don't like me and will try to bash at me every time my name is mentioned...real mature.

Its funny how being a man is based on what is done on a high school football message forum. The facts are I take care of my son when I have him (every other weekend), I am up on my child support. I have kept a consistent job, and opted to leave school to take care of my 78 yr old father. As well as help raise my girl friends two boys. So before you decide to question my man hood please know all your facts. Because if your going to judge me just based on what is done on a message board, most of you need to take a serious look in the mirror and question yourselves as well.

Yes I hope me being on this message forum ruins somebody's day, because if all they have to do is sit in front of a computer and worry about what is going on on here they need to take a step back and look at what kind of life they are living. If a person miles away, who has never really met me before can get that upset that I ruin just a fraction of their day they need REAL help, and need to get a life.

I have gotten many PM's from people telling me they are happy that I am back, so why should I care about the people who don't? Like I said before, if you don't want me back now, you didn't want me around then....so what's the difference? You have an ignore button, learn how to use it...if you choose not to that is your fault not mine.

I don't hide behind screen names, I don't call people stupid or retarded on a regular basis like a lot of posters on here do (and get away with it). I don't have a biased opinion towards one poster because of their relationship with another poster. I just give my opinion..some like it, some don't...deal with it

Personally I could care less about this one way or the other but KTA did make kind of a big deal out of it before Vernon beat Graham. On the other hand, someone keeping their word isn't as common as it once was, sadly.

My thoughts on KTA's reappearance. Who cares. I met him at the Graham - Vernon game. He didn't seem to have a problem with me. He did however have a long look on his face as I saw him leaving the game and spoke with him briefly. I have to admit the board was a little slow while he was gone, but I understand the position that people take when they want him to keep his word. I could go either way on this. But since your back KTA, I have a question for ya. HOW BOUT THEM LIONS, BABY!!! Yeah!! Tell them Steers to come git some more of it. And gitcha a big ol mess of CROW while you're at it.. Vernon out gained Graham by 72 yards, had 4 more first downs an Vernon GAVE away two fumbles. One was on the 1 yard line and the other on the Vernon 30. The turnover differencial was only one and Vernon earned two of their's with outstanding pressure and coverage on the two interceptions. One of the interceptions was even tipped at the line of scrimmage by the rushing DE. Graham gave away one fumble on the one and Vernon gave away one fumble at the one. And by the way Murray had crossed the goal line before he fumbled. That should have been a TD. Look at the sports page cover photo from the Times Record News.

Out gained us 72 yards, so that's what basically that one long pass that got yall a FG? 72 yards is 72 yards. If Graham would of converted in the red zone, would you of said "they beat us, but we got more yards then they did"? It happens all of the time. If they could of just converted those into FG’s Graham wins. Throwing the ball on your 1 yard line, into double coverage isn't a very smart coaching decision (TD Vernon). 2nd and inches in Vernon territory on that last drive, and you start throwing the football? That was not a smart decision as well. That's exactly what almost got Graham beat the week before.
