Sinton's stadium isn't state-of-the-art or anything, but the field has always been amazing and the stadium well-maintained. The best one I can think of off the top of my head.

In 2A, Somerville's stadium is amazing. Maybe my favorite stadium in Texas. Looks like an old mission.

I'm a homer. Love the Mustang Bowl in S'water.

May not be the nicest but it's not too shabby.

Cept for the pink end zones.

You're right. Definitely not the nicest, but one of the most unique.

What no one is going to mention "The Hilton" down in West in a thread about nicest 3a stadiums?

Nothing against the fine people of West. Y'all make some great kolaches and are probably going to destroy us on Friday in football. :)

The Mustang Bowl. Been around for a while. It keeps getting better too, new concession on home side, And I hear that stadium seats are being put in after enough money is robbed from ticket prices. Jumbotron is unlikely because only Sweetwater plays there until playoffs. Plus it costs too much.

Wakeland's is the best by far, but it may not count since it is not a HSFB field by design

Haven't made it to Sweetwater yet but I like the pictures. Back in the 90's the Sealy booster club had a cost estimate done for putting a second deck on the home side because tickets were so hard to come by in the reserved section. It was just a joke, but it was pretty funny. Unfortunately, tickets are not so hard to get these days.

Gladewater has a really nice stadium. They were awash in oil money in the early 1980s and paid cash for it. Click link for aerial photo.

Gilmer has made a lot of improvements to its stadium. It looks newer than it is. The oldest part of it was built in the early 1960s.

I will say this Andrews has got to have some of the best facilities i have ever seen. I know the thread just said stadium, but they just built some state of the art stuff there. There football stadium is really nice without the new facility but that is just a bonus.

Hidalgo has navy blue turf on its stadium. It looks really nice. Although they need bigger bleachers and the scorebord is pretty decent. Im going to try and get some pictures

Andrews stadium is crap....the surface is good and the dressing facilities are good but why in the heck would you not put a decent press-box on a staidum like that? Maybe two coaches can fit in the visitors coaches box. And most 3A schools are going to put atleast 4 guys up there.

I agree with you there that pressbox is crap, but overall that stadium with facilities included is as good as alot of colleges.

You can't beat the Mustang Bowl for tradition. It's a true bowl that's been around along time. It's also my favorite place to watch High School football. Go Mustangs!

Actual seating is about 6,000. But if you include all the concrete areas on the ends, and the standing room around the top, it will hold about twice that much and then some. But parking becomes a major issue with huge crowds.
Still, theres not a bad seat in the house, and without a track feild, you feel close to the action. It all creates a great atmosphere for high school football games.
With the new restroom facilities about to be built, and IF they will ever install stadium seating, it would be hands down the best high school football stadium anywhere. The pressbox could use some remodling also.

It is an awesome stadium, great atmosphere, and hey the tigers got a win there this year.

This can't be correct since no one goes to Diboll.jk. Navasota's is very nice, just not enough seating plus that prison compound effect.

This is where WTAMU plays, but the stadium is leased by CISD. It use to belong to WT but when they did away with the football program they leased it to CISD, and they still lease it.
