Marlin may have set a record they're ranked 14th in the poll. That has to be the highest a team has ever finished in the polls and missed the playoffs since the playoffs expanded to 3 teams going

How the heck does Diboll get more votes than Carthage?

cause the AP poll is a typical regionally biased poll .... most voters only know there immediate area, the rest is a WAG

How did Dallas get ahead of RH . . . what did they do?

3afan

they are tied, 8 votes each

if these two teams were to play I'm afraid I'd pick Roosevelt by 2-3 TDs

I do not look at votes received. I look at the order they are in.

ANd I think RH would win by 10

most people up north would pick the other team, most people down south would pick Rio Hondo...

so just do the right thing and pick the team in between, Cuero...

You can see it any way you want but the fact is that it is a Top10 , not a top "however many people get votes." You will see some absolute goofball names down on that "also receiving votes" part sometimes.

Until you have enough votes to reach the top 10, you are unranked.

actually its NOT alphabetical ... its random --- example 4A: Kerrville Tivy 6. Wolfforth Frenship 6. Aledo 6; or Houston Yates 1. Sulphur Springs 1. Canyon Randall 1. New Braunfels Canyon 1. Austin Lake Travis 1

and if people dont understand that and think teams that are tied are actually ranked in the order they are listed, then they're just, well, dumb :p

Royse City #10?

and Snyder ahead of .................all of the people they are ahead of?

Royse City would beat them by four touchdowns

you have to admit, though

that is some die hard fandom/optimism

that is some die hard fandom/optimism I also have to question RH. I question it only due to their strength of schedule. They may be that good, but I think its yet to be seen as they've not had a real test all year. I stand to be proven wrong. Go strong Reg. IV!!
