I feel like rockdale will come out on top of this one. both teams will finish in the 20's w/ the rock on top.

I watched China Spring embarrass R-Dale earlier this year. Although it is difficult to beat the same team twice in the same season, C.S. is really peaking at this point, the D is getting better and they should pound Rockdale by 17-24 points.

Peaking...I saw where they only beat Gatesville by 16. A team that is peaking beats a team like Gatesville y 30

Big rivalry game. If they won by 16 that'd be the largest margin of victory that China has ever had against Gatesville. I may be wrong, but I believe that's correct.

Or just China as they're often referred to.

Let me educate you. :) They are coached by Mark Bell. He's the dad of former Baylor QB Shawn Bell. He's the QB who ended the streak against A&M. The irony there is that dad is an Aggie if I remember right. I remember when he was the head coach in Lampasas that he was introduced to my freshman algebra class as an Aggie grad.

They run the Madden 08 offense and they usually run it pretty well.

Now you know more about China. :)

Currently the only evidence that has been brought forward to support this theory has been from people who reside in Gatesville. :)

China Spring also has a full arsenal of trick plays, as we found out last year. Rockdale should be ready for anything, because if needed, CS will not hesitate to use them.

I'd very much like to see Rockdale win this game. They have a lot working in their favor. They're a lot healthier than they were earlier in the year, they've found an offensive identity and solidified some positions, they'll have two weeks of preparation, and they've got the revenge factor. They're a different team than the one China Spring blew out earlier in the year. If CS comes in overconfident, I think the Tigers can pull the upset.

J.R., you are correct. That was the largest margin of victory in any of the Hornet/Cougar games. Gatesville's defense pretty well shut down the Cougar's running attack, and even blocked a punt. It was their passing game that beat the Hornets. If Rockdale can step up and prevent pass completions, they may have a good chance at a win. But, staying step by step with the Cougar receiver, Mike Hicks, is another story. He has blazing speed.
