When Baylor forced its way into the Big 12 through its political connections in Austin, it declared it wanted to become the "Baptist Notre Dame."

That goal has now been achieved, although perhaps not in the way originally envisioned.

Let's show some respect for Notre Dame. Remember it is a great christian school that promotes high moral christian values as well as very high acedemic standards. The rise again to a football power is inevitable and they will be a top force for many years when it comes which will be soon.
