The 2007 Panthers are the first EVER Liberty Hill team to finish the regular season undefeated. Congratulations to the coaches and players. Every one of you had a part in this. Great job! :cheerl:  :cheerl:  :cheerl:

Really? That's hard to believe that LH has never gone undefeated before this year. They just seem to be on this pedestal. LHPM, what is their history? Like, how many playoff appearances, and how long have they been in 3A, seeing as their growth will put them in 4A in the next decade probably.

Ah, thanks. That helps a little. So that means that Liberty Hill has been playing since roughly the second World War? And been in 3A since 1994. So that undefeated season will bring them over the .400 winning percentage mark all time. They have to be the most successful program for the last few years in 3A.

I can't say if they are statistically the most successful in the last few years, but it has been one great ride - steadily building from a non-winning program in to a state-recognized program. Thanks to all the players & coaches for infinite memories and good times! Congrats to this year's team on undefeated regular season. While you're at it - why not just make it a whole season?!!

Coach Vance got to Liberty Hill in 2001. There wasn't much football history in LH before that. Since his arrival, it's just been a steady increase.

2001: (5-5)
2002: (10-2)
2003: (11-2)
2004: (12-3)
2005: (11-3)
2006: (13-2)
2007: *(9-0)
