Reply to Long-time Hawk Fan:
You must not have been paying attention at the scrimmage. The only scores by the Hawks were when the reserves were playing. In the varsity first-team scrimmage, the score was Hawks 0 Bearcats 1. Good to see you support your team but don't expect too much from them. They are not going to be in the top half of your district this season.

Yeah, the Hawks scored three times, on our second-string defense. The Bearcats won the live quarter, 7-0.
Hawk Fan, if you know much about football you should know that in a scrimmage the live quarter is the only thing that really matters. The live quarter is when all the starters are in. So don't try and make it look like Iowa Park won the scrimmage.
I was impressed, Iowa Park was a lot better than I expected, and should do really good this season. But they still didn't beat us.

First of all, everyone who was at the Henrietta and Iowa Park game knows that Henrietta won in the scrimmage. It was even 'til Henrietta put their second string in for a few reps. Then in the live quarter Henrietta dominated, only allowing two first downs, one because of a personal foul. Henrietta came out on top in the live quarter after scoring, and Iowa Park not passing the 20-yard line before being picked off in the end of the game.
