56 points. Has Liberty Hill actually had to drive a TOTAL of 100 yards for all of these scores combined? Christ, these turnovers have completely ruined what was a competitive game.

Have to break it to you, Even if it would have remained competative in the first half, The beating would have come in the second half regardless of turn overs. It sounds like total domination on both sides of the ball for LH. No offense (no pun intended).

why is Allman still in the game in a 6 TD difference game....

meaning that NOBODY stays at the top forever. Just ask Hutto. Eventually the tide will be turned and you guys will be wondering why the entire first team offense of a team that is pounding you by 42 points is still running at you full speed late in the 4th (yes your 1st string QB & RB were in). Had Allman been hurt that last drive, I'd have no sympathy.

LHPfactory
11-09-2007, 11:24 PM
No need to get upset about it. Yoe has beat other teams to death in the past. Should we let our JV play the rest of the game? The playoffs start next week, when you play teams like Giddings and what not, you better practice running away with it and not looking back.

King_LeYoeNidas
11-09-2007, 11:26 PM
you're right. And when Cameron has gotten up by 3 touchdowns, you'll see our 2nd team in there by mid 3rd. That's a fact. It's all good guys, this loss is over and there's nothing we can do about it. I just feel that stat padding is pretty stupid on your coach's part when you claim you're about to make a run at the state title.

Celina has been there for a looooong time, Yoe has had lots of success also. Its just the style of LH football, run till day light, the fourth quarter is ours, its built in to the system and must be practiced.

We DID have a JV player on the field at FB in the 4th quarter. We had 3rd string DT's in the game in the 3rd quarter. 2nd/3rd string OL, 3rd/4th string DE's, etc. Every player on our bench hit the field and the subbing began in the 3rd quarter. I don't think Troxell was on the field at all the 2nd half. And yes, for those of you that didn't read the first part - A JV FB WAS PLAYING!

Just to clarify, our QB is the lone offensive starter that stays in the game even when the subs come in, as he's just in there to hand it off. It's been like that all year. On the last scoring drive tonight, Allman was the only other starter in, and it wasn't to get him stats. Part of the reason was that the backup fullback was not playing tonight. They moved up the JV fullback this week. He was the one who went the wrong way when he did get into the game leaving our QB out to dry. I also think they wanted to get Allman a few more touches before the playoffs. He got the ball every play running behind our second string line. If you can't stop it, that's not our problem.

The subs played almost the entire fourth quarter against Hutto and were in with five minutes left in the third against Taylor. With the exception of Allman, they played most of the 4th quarter tonight. If we were tyring to run up the score, we would have hit 70 in each of the past three games, so know what you're talking about before running your mouth.

True. Prime example: We kicked a field goal on a FIRST DOWN during the Hutto game at the end of the first half. We clearly could've punched it in the end zone.

I didn't remember any Cameron posters complaining last year when they beat Rockdale 50-12 about running up the store, lack of class, et cetera. I guess when you're on top, it's not that big of a deal, but when the tables are turned, the Kleenexes come out and the river of tears begin. Good job Panthers. ;)

easy fellas, bottom line is this: Allman needed his touches, he has been "deprived" i guess you could say the past 2 weeks.
