We lined up on the field tonight
To see who was the best
In the end the scoreboard showed
Not us but them
How can this be?
What went wrong?
The officials were out to get us
When they made that phantom call
Our best player was injured
We had no one to carry the ball
It rained all week
Both night and day
We could not keep our feet
We dropped some passes
And had some fumbles too
