Y'all must not have ever seen Dalhart play. You know you aren't to great when a 1A ball club whips you 40-0. But I'd say Presidio is the worst of all. They have cancelled seasons due to poor turn outs, but even when they had teams it was really ugly, even against 2A and 1A teams. Just my take.

I agree with St Ivender... a tie would be the best thing for these 2 teams...sort of like having a 'lesser blemish' on their record.. :) Surely, half the fans will be happy..

Dalhart got beat by a very very good Stratford ball team, who are ranked #2 in 1A currently. Stratford could probably play in the top 1/3 of 3A...smash-mouth running game behind a large O-line, and very rugged D. Their problem would be that they all have to play both ways. (Which most of the smaller 3A schools have to do also.)
Doesn't matter the size of the school, you can only put 11 men out a time.
No, the Dalhart Golden Wolves are definitely not in the top 25, but also won't be in the bottom 25 of 3A either.

But then I remembered they managed to beat someone. Was it Ray Charles school for the blind? or maybe a 1A or a really bad 2A? Did y'all get enough rain?

eagle08..With all due respect - nope, they're not.

New coaching staff, completely new offensive system, very few varsity returners, rotten record, but a great attitude and work ethic.

The Longhorns played every second of their game against Cleveland. And I do mean every second - going for a long pass with :01 left on the 1st Half clock and trying for a big run with 07 left on the 4th Quarter clock.

I just don't see how that describes the worst 3A ball team in the State.

Shut Cleveland's offense out the second half...that is not the sign of the worst team in the state for sure.

I have been watching high school football for more than 30 years and Dallas Pinkston is the worst football team I have ever seen. Forney scored 60 points on them and that's with the clock running most of the game. They didn't even stop it after there was a score in the second half. The only time it stopped was for an injury.
Really felt sorry for Pinkston. Not only was their team bad but they had no fan support what so ever. At least the parents could have shown up.

The worst team in 3A is not DHJ or Carter Riverside. The team who has the longest losing streak is argueably the worst team in 3A. That would be South San Antonio West with 34 straight losses. They are in district 26-AAA

The worst team this year has to be pinkston.Isaw them play celina and it was 56 0 at half.They ran the clock from the 2nd quarter on.No fan support at all.Its so weak that the parents dont come out and support them.Even if they are bad.

Talk about poor sportsmanship. :(What is sad to me about Huntington, is that they have some of the biggest sized players in the state, and in 3A for sure. But, they seem to be pretty slow. Just my take.

i would have to go with huntington too. I heard they arent having a football program next year because of the way their seasons have been going. i do agree with the poor sportsmanship too because when they call to the football boys in pep rallys they wont even stand up for themselves thats just sad! eek!
