Can a stadium ban certain things like confetti or noise makers (that are not prohibited by UIL)?

Our school officials banned confetti because they dont want any chance of it getting on the turf.

Honestly, so am I. But I think it may be an anchoring issue. How would you go about anchoring an inflatable helmet into turf?

And they have to keep it nice... we'll be playing on it for the next 70 years. :D

that's a good rule not having inflatables... they looks like moon-walks... this is football, not a 3-year-old's birthday party...

I can relate to you on that point but I do have to say it was pretty intimidating to see Giddings at home last year with that helmet bobbing up and down and you can hear the players inside with smoke coming out the front.

To be a 15-18 year old player on that sideline watching that, while thinking about all the hype you've heard about them being extremely good before the game . . . It's intimidating.

interesting....I had thought that the UIL had banned the propane tanks w/ marbles in them as large rattles some years back....Needville fans have had them at the last handful of games. Goodness they are loud.

We have those for pep rallies but I'm not sure if we are allowed to use them for football games.

I've been wondering about that....I could swear the UIL had banned them back in the 90s...but who knows. Needville brings them out in force each week. They're deafening. Them and the old guy that sits behind us that seems to be able to yell louder than any human alive, LOL.

You can have artificial noise makers as long as the event is outside.

I took an inflatable "date" to a game one time and they made me leave. I don't know if it was a stadium rule or city or what, but as soon as I started taking my clothes off, they made us both leave.

I like the unique entrances that Navasota, Giddings, and others have for the football games...Adds to the intensity and energy of the game.

I like Giddings, because like State In 08 said, "its intimidating"

I like Navasota's because they get to run through the tunnel...And the entrance video is kool.
