Haha... of course they are going to be discussed, they are one of the better teams in 3A. They have to be discussed just like Cuero, Gilmer, Liberty Hill, etc.

that's usually how it goes. a few posters with unknown locations start hyping a team as "the best" (i.e. - Gilmer last year, Cuero the year before, Burnet - 2 years, Wylie, etc...) and almost ALWAYS that team gets beat sometime before the state game.

I like to call it the DL curse. :D

Once upon a time Burnet could beat the KC Chiefs

Too bad they had to play Everman and Gainesville instead

Jasper and then WOS were supposed to take 3A by storm winning championships along the way

Too bad the fact that they dropped meant the playing field was level

Gilmer was supposed to be the best team ever

Better than USC or the Patriots

Too bad they had to play TLE instead

In each case a large part of the conversation was driven by people with no affiliation

Yet the hometown posters were left with all the blame
