View Full Version : Getting new restrooms at THE BOWL

A $10 million bond passed in Swater yesterday that includes funding for new restrooms at Mustang Bowl finally. I'm sure nothing will happen till summer on it, but at least it will finally get done. This has only needed to be done for about 40 years now. Better late than never I guess.

Yeah, there is just something wrong about standing side by
side with a bunch of males and urinating on the wall. I'm really
embarrassed for the ones that can't make it home and have
to cop a squat on a toilet with no door.

Yep those to. I think that was already in the works anyway though. I just hope they wait till right before the season starts next year on those though. I'm hoping maybe they'll start keeping the covered once they get them red again. Texas sun was brutal on the red.

or put more stands..... on both sides of the stadium.

Well durn it ole Butkus kinda likes those urinals that tha Bowl has. Ya no dont hafta aim and never hafta lower tha lid.:D

Hahaha, I would just leave and go to a resteraunt at halftime and pay to get back in

the paper said that the old cafeteria was getting demolished and they were going to build a state of the art science and technology building but thats all i read.

the new turf was a project that they were working on before the bond. they had been setting money away for new turf since they put the turf we have now in. my cousin is a coach and he told me so it has to be true:D

i just read the rest of the article. they are looking to do a bunch of stuff. the bathrooms and the renovations to the auditorium are the ones that are needed the most. half the seats in the auditorium are broken and the carpet looks like it is from the 60's and the ceiling is just nasty
