View Full Version : Cameron Yoe - Next Two Weeks

Cameron Yoe over the next two weeks will play the toughest schedule in the entire Great State of Texas...

With Potential State Champion Teams in Liberty Hill and Waco LaVega...

There was a time both of these games would be Must See In Person...

Now, Cameron Yoe will be lucky to stay within Thirty Points...

But, that's just my humble opinion...

Cameron had the very unfortunate task of playing LH and LV in back-to-back weeks last year, too, so they know what awaits them.

lets say cameron won against Lavega and played Madisonville and won they would play LH, Lavega, Madisonville, and Giddings talk about 4 outstanding running games in a row

I believe Milk that cow is 100% right. Looks like yoe will end season on a 3 game losing streak.

Call UIL to see on fri if you can play with 12 or 13 players on defense.
It wouldn't surprise me if this game was closer than you might think, LH may not want to risk injury and only give the starters just enough touches to win.
LH 35-7 at half
LH 48-35 final

Well, they won't see us again this season, for sure, since we'll be DI.

I wouldn't be surprised one bit to see Allman get quite a bit of rest, since he went out in the 2nd qtr against Taylor (ankle).

And LOL @ 12 or 13 on defense. That "might" help. ;)

In the unlikely event of Cameron beating LH...who gets 1st place since 3 teams are 3-1? Whoever had the highest margin of victory?

Old Tiger

1. LH
1a. Rockdale
3. Cameron Yoe

LH/Rockdale co-district champions

I'm sure there's a point cap, but I don't know what it is. I guess we'll just have to make sure that is a non-issue. :D

say cameron beats both LH and LV...would it make a difference for either team in their playoff spots???

If they beat us, it will depend on the tie-breaker system to determine if they're in the "W" spot or the "R" spot. If they ended up in the "W" spot, their first round game will be China Spring instead of La Vega. A win against either takes them to round 2.

For us, it doesn't matter as far as "spot" - we're DI either way.

no, we are in the R spot no matter what....the first Tie-breaker in our district is head-to-head

If Cameron Beats Liberty Hill Big IF Then It Would Come Down To Point Which Is Pretty Much Between Us And Liberty Hill

We Have More Points Than Cameron And Only Lost To LH by 12

I believe he is right. in order to claim 1st we'd have to beat LH by 23 I think?

To settle this issue, we'll just go ahead and take care of business on Friday night. How's that?

yoemenkracker30

to my knowledge, the points cutoff for each victory is 14....so hypothetically speaking, cameron could still technically win district

Dogman_1969
11-08-2007, 03:58 PM
or they could hypothethically implode, again........

I just hope both teams get through the game with no more injuries so we can represent D18-3A in the playoffs.......

I think they will be ready for Liberty Hill. not predicting a win but they'll be ready. Its the game with La Vega that I wonder if they are already beaten mentally. Cameron has a quick score offense. they just CAN NOT get down on themselves. Both the Rockdale and Cameron radio stations said that you could tell by body language that the Yoemen were down on themselves. I myself saw a shouting match between two defensive players. that aint gonna win games gentlemen.

You may think yoe has a quick score O, but its hard to score when the ball controll Panthers keep the yoe D on the field all night.Cameron did look down last fri. and they were shouting at each other on D Because they couldn't figure out a way to stop the Tiger running game 400 + yds on the ground over 500 total.Like I said yoe still makes it look good late in game when LH is saving starters for playoffs. Good luck to both teams , injury free rep. dist 18 well next week.
