what does it mean when someone calls you mainstream?

A.) you follow the majority... do what most people do, follow what most people follow, try to enjoy what most people enjoy...

B.) maybe not follow, but end up doing what the majority of people do etc...

what is really funny about the whole "mainstream" arguement is right there in your post... because it is becoming (and has been becoming) "mainstream" to think the way you think...

kinda like the gothic people "were" (notice there are less of them now?)... "Oh I wanna be different"... but when you have 15,000,000 goths, you're not very different... on to the next "underground" things...

being yourself is the best bet :)

nah, it's "my" state of mind... I've been pretty much borderline mainstream my whole life... I've picked and chosed from different walks of life, music etc... and I take what I like... never really follow, never lead... just live...
