I love the set up of Cameron's field. Maybe the field has gone to crap, but the the set up is a good ole fashioned look that is a great atmospere to play in. Been many years since i've been there though.

Yoe field should be redone completely. They've got a new school for k-5th, a new jr high and a new high school. Obviously the funds are there but we've yet to get a new football field??? I just don't understand why a town that values football so much has let us go so long without a new field. I mean, these new school buildings are HUGE.....yet we have the worst field (IMO) out there. The friggin track goes BEHIND the visitors stands! lol

I realize that the track goes behind the visitors stands, but the track isn't used for track meets. Thus, it doesn't hurt anything. How's the playing surface?

Cameron like Liberty Hill does not have enough seating, I don’t know the condition of the their field.

But I have to say that Cameron is one of my favorite football towns. The town like the stadium has an old fashion feel to it. Mix that quaintness with the fall temperatures and it should make for a very pleasant Friday night (providing we win of course). Go Panthers.

Turf? God I hope not. They need to tear that whole place down and make the stadium over where the new track is at. Put turf THERE. Put stands THERE. There' a massive amount of room for cars to park at if that area could be converted into a parking lot. Just retire Yoe fields dusty track, rusty stands and crabgrass filled field. Just because you paint a rusty fence white doesn't mean you've fixed it. You just have a rusty white fence.

who knows....i heard the new sup wants to redo some stuff at the stadium though....talked about turf new and a new conjoined (check spelling) concession stand that is in the west endzone by the scoreboard.....but like i said that was a rumor

where would you put the cars? you've got youth soccer fields to the west, and to the east they're building the new softball stadium and supposed to be starting on the baseball field sometime in the next few years....stands at the track could be a possibility but there's really no place to park

Rumors are fun sometimes...IMO a the east endzone would be better suited for a new concession stand.

i say even if you dont take the track OUT, you can act like it wasnt there....add on to the visitors stands right over the track and all the way back to the fence and that's what? atleast 5-10, maybe 15 more rows? that would be a lot better
