I noticed on the rankings for BB, that Sanford Fritch was in the top 25. I also see that they had 2 losses, and those two losses came at the hands of Perryton and Childress. Everyone in the district happened to be bragging on Fritch, considering all thier players are year round players, except a couple. As for Perryton, well of coarse we all know that we went alot further than Fritch in Football, so that means alot less time on the court. I know it sounds like excuses, but we all know in the game of BB you have to have the roundball in your hand pretty much year round to sharpen skills. Perryton, for sure has the athletes, it seems like things are coming together. But then again, some of our starters are anxious for baseball. ouch , that hurts!By the way how many starters on Evermans Team are Football players? Just being curious. Our girls have a great chance a winning state this year, they knocked off Amarillo High the other night in a practice game, I believe they are ranked 5th in 5A. As for the boys, I just hope we can come together and make it happen, at least to Regionals!!

I think on the hoops team for Everman 2 starters play football...the QB Benton starts and #9 Martin starts in hoops....#10 John Harrell and #11 Rickey Kinney are also big time contributors on the court
