I was looking at the standings for your district and it looks like if yall win and Pinkston loses it will create a 3 way tie, however looking at the points(if that is your tie breaker) it doesnt look too good for you guys....So what do yall need to do or what needs to happen for you guys to get in or are yall eliminated because i know in a lot of districts there is like a 20 point cap on points so if thats the case yall cant get in

I asked him last night in a PM and he said they need to win by 15 to get in. Tall order, but it can happen and I hope it does.

Most Districts cap the point differential at 14 points

He said it's a 21 point cap for DISD. Figures...I guess Velt was just trying to cover all bases Thursday night to make sure they got their 21. Couldn't risk Madison putting up 3 TD's in the final minute of that one.

Adamson can do it though if they need 15 to get the playoff berth. They pull that off then they need to organize a parade for the team through their neighborhood for getting into the playoffs after how little was expected of them this year.

I think the Leopards can do it....should be a fun Thursday game at Kincaide this week..

For those who went and watched Adamson-Pinkston earlier who had never been to the stadium what were ya'lls thoughts??

I think Kincaide is a very underrated stadium I love watching games there

I've never thought of Kincaide as an underrated stadium. Not many folks on here have been to it though since it's a DISD stadium. It's a great place to watch football in my opinion. To me it's one of the top 5 high school stadiums in Texas. That whole complex is great. If a school district is going to put together an athletic complex, stopping by Jesse Owens Memorial would be a good idea to see what a first class facility looks like.

We lost to Pinkston by 7. The cap in our district is 21. If we beat them by 14 and Pinkston loses to SOC, then there owuld be a coin flip. If we win by 15 and Pink loses to SOC then we are in.

BUT....the thing is we are playing in Week 10 for a playoff spot and that is unbelievable around here. It has been a fun year. Would it be disappointing to end up 6-4 and stay ing at home or 7-3 and stay at home? Of course. But its been fun!

If we would have taken care of business against Pinkston then we could be playing Seagoville for the chance to get in without points being a factor.

No matter what happens on friday im sure it will feel good to be able to stand in front of those kids on friday night and tell them how much they have accomplished and how they did things no one thought they could

you are right. Going into this year the last time Adamson had a winning seaosn our senior class was in kindergarten. That is pretty big! The last time Adamson won at least 6 games was in 1989 and many of our kids were not born yet.

so the real question is you score a touchdown with say 4 seconds left to go up 13 and you know pinkston was down big to SOC...do you go for 2 to get in the playoffs or kick the xp and take your chances on a coin flip...i dono what i would do

kaorder1999
