Dalhart at Canyon District Championship Game

Who wins? i can tell you this that records dnt really mean much at this point, Dalhart has been looking really good lately, Dalhart(5-4, 2-0) vs Canyon(8-1, 2-0), Both teams coming in with big district wins, Dalhart toped Borger 56-23 and Canyon toped Perryton 42-21, Canyon has a high powered passing attack while Dalhart has a high power rushing attack. If i remmember right, the last time Dalhart has played for a district title was 1981 but they lost and last time they won district was well, i dnt know i do know they won in 1960 somethin when they were 2a. But who do you think wins and why?

I'm rooting for Dalhart. The assistant principal there was really nice to me on Christmas Eve about 3 or 4 years back. I was driving from Denver back to Lampasas to see my family for Christmas. I drove a Camaro at the time and it skidded off the road (had an inch of ice on the road) near Dalhart. Luckily he was out that day helping deliver the rural mail and he used his truck to pull me out of the snow bank.

Thanks to him I made it home on time so I'll hope for Dalhart to pull off the upset. :)

I would love to see Dalhart win this game. But I think Canyon has too much. They seem to have gotten it together and are on a roll.

Tell u this tho, we can stop the pass alot better than we could last year, and the thing that killed us in the canyon game last year was Anthony Ramos, he ran all over us in the second half and we could not tackle =/, i would say Dalhart with the upset, Dalhart 26 Canyon 20

ok since we get two picks i will go 1) Canyon - A lot Dalhart a little bit 2) Canyon- Quite a bit Dalhart - very little

The better question is, who would win in a fight, canyon, or a hurricane?? what if the hurricane's name is canyon?

Even though Canyon doesn't have Anthony Ramos anymore, they actually have better receivers than last year, with 3 of them being Sophomores. And the defense is playing well.

If Dalhart tries to be only one dimensional with the run, Canyon will stop that. I don't believe Dalhart has a passing game that will help their rushing attack. That being said, it is for a district trophy and both teams will be set to go.
