It wasn't too long ago Lamesa was a real good 4A team and then at one time in 2000 they were the number one team in the state

i saw them in a playoff game, when they played andrews in sweetwater. shaud williams senior year. GO TIGERS!!!(the best 7-2 team in the state) was that in 2000?

Lamesa has only had a hand full of football teams in the past that were any good. More often than not they have been cellar dwellers. And I dont remember them ever having a good one in 4A.
They have had many good baseball and basketball teams though. Nearly always tough in baseball.
