This game will determine the District 20 champ. Diboll comes into the game with 9-0 record, is 4-0 in district and will be the "W" DII rep in the playoffs regardless of the outcome. Carthage is currently 7-2, is 4-0 in district and will be the DI rep. Their two losses were the first two games of the season, to 4A Henderson and Kirbyville, by 3 points and 1 point respectively.

I know common opponents doesn't tell the whole story, but looking at them, the two teams appear to be evenly matched. This should be a great game!

you're right. Carthage has allowed 146 points in 9 games vs a pretty tough schedule, while Diboll has allowed 164 games against a questionable schedule. Difference of 18 pts.

I have a feeling that Diboll will be going into the playoffs undefeated.

Carthage...I've been talking about them for about a month now, so I can't jump off the bandwagon now!

I'll take Carthage by 10.

Don't know the exact mileage, but I say w/ high traffic it will you take you 40-45 mins.

If you do decide to make the game, Directions: you'll be on HWY 59 South, when you roll into Diboll you'll make a left on Lumberjack Dr. (First stop light, and a sign will direct you) . Take L'jack dr. all the way to the stadium.

well we'll find out this Friday. First, people said that Diboll couldn't not hang w/ Crockett and claimed that game was the real test. Diboll beat Crockett, so now people are saying Carthage will show how over-rated Diboll is. We have two gidding's fans saying SLIGHTLY & SERIOUSLY overrated. Which one is it?!?

The District 20-3A title will be decided in Diboll tonight as the Lumberjacks play host to the Carthage Bulldogs.

Diboll comes into tonight's game with a 9-0 record after a 45-28 win over the Crockett Bulldogs. That includes a 4-0 mark in district play.

The Bulldogs have been almost as impressive, even though they have two losses on the season. Those losses came in the first two weeks of the season, a 10-7 setback against Henderson and a 27-26 loss to Kirbyville.

Since then, Carthage has rolled off seven straight wins, including four straight in district play by a combined margin of 183-35. The closest contest was a 44-21 win over Crockett two weeks ago.

The Bulldogs are also coming off a 55-6 win over Huntington last week.

Carthage has a strong passing attack that is led by Si'Darius Blackshire, who has thrown for 1,714 yards and 24 touchdowns, while only being intercepted seven times.

Tavares Allison is his top target with 28 catches for 469 yards and eight touchdowns, and Richard Lyles has 25 receptions for 400 yards and five scores.

Jarvin Robinson leads Carthage's ground game with 508 yards and six touchdowns on 80 carries.

While those numbers are nice, Diboll has continued to be among Class 3A's top scoring teams. The Lumberjacks have 464 points on the season, which is second only to Gilmer, which has 489.

Jacolby Spencer has 1,428 yards on 75-of-119 passing with 22 touchdowns. He also has yet to throw an interception.

J.J. Hayes leads the receivers with 464 yards and eight touchdowns on 22 receptions. Cornelius Polk is not far behind with 24 receptions for 383 yards and seven touchdowns.

Ketaraus Stanton continues to be unstoppable on the ground as he has run for 1,565 yards and 21 touchdowns on 178 carries. That includes 731 yards in just the past three weeks.

All signs lead to a classic matchup for the district title at Lumberjack Stadium.

While tonight's game is for the district title, both teams are already locked into their playoff slots. Carthage will represent the district as the top seed in the Class 3A Division I playoffs, while Diboll is the top seed in the Division II playoffs.

this guy is the half brother of both Jermicheal Finley and Javorskie Lane. He was on smoak's radio show the other day and sounded like a good kid. That is a pretty good blood line!!!!!!

Diboll was outplayed for most of the game! Diboll 32 Carthage 56! Carthage will do well in D1. They were definitely underrated, and could easily be undefeated. Give them 6 points and they are sitting at 10-0.
