With Columbia losing to Sealy and Wharton losing to Columbus, we clinched the Division 1 birth tonight. Thanks to all our fans who stuck with us during a tough little stretch of not playing so well. Now, we just wait for the Navasota/La Grange game to figure out if we play the Rattlers or the Giddings Buffaloes.

We limped into the playoffs?

lol...

Ok, we lost to Columbus and Sealy by 3 pts each and then we beat Sweeny 36 - 12, Columbia 40 - 17, and Royal 23 - 3, and Stafford (tonight) 33 - 0.

If that's limping in....ok.

Oh and Navasota didn't play La Grange. They lost to Caldwell.

Needville's a class act...Congrats to them as they have earned the spot...Anyone who says differently is not "seeing" "strait"...they should make some noise...excellent program and even better community...good luck to the blue jays the rest of the way!

I hope that they are strong. Their high school has been through a lot in the last year if I may say so myself. But, they will either face the Rattlers or the Buffalos, depending on the outcome of the Navasota/La Grange game next Friday. And jays, you had better be rooting for Navasota, because you are much more evenly matched with us than Giddings. Even so, Navasota, for all the down talking we have been getting on this board, has three losses, all to top 15 teams. I hope we get the opportunity to meet you guys. I can't recall us ever meeting Needville. Dealt with Columbus, Sealy, Stafford and Wharton many times recently, but haven't faced Needville or Brookshire Royal in a long, long time. I would expect a team with a LOT of emotion.

Will not matter who District 24 plays it will be a clean sweep by District 23 #1 Giddings, #10 Caldwell, and Navasota.

congrats to you guys Crow... knew that would happen...

as for district 23... for a few years I have been watching and participating and I always hear how district 23 is far superior and then I watch district 24 always take 2 of 3 with Giddings always being the one advancing...
nice Bellville... one would think people with as much "Knowledge" as some of you seem to have, you would know that come playoff time, nothing is a given

Giddings , Caldwell, and Navasota, are very good teams all 3, if were in differant Districts would be District champs, 23 is stout this year, the # 5 team in 23 beat a 24 team that only has 1 lose in District 35-7.

Have you seen any 23a teams play this year?

I opine that District 23 will sweep District 24 in the first round of the playoffs. District 23 is way too strong this year and District 24 is down. Based upon what I see in the playoff brackets, District 23 will play a number of weeks into the season.

I haven't even seen a district 24 team play...

23 takes over 3-2 in this arguement due to fbb's second to last post

(I keepin' score on the arguement, for the playoffs, 2-1, 23)...

Typical Bellville Fan. Didn't a crappy 24 team knock ya'll out in the first round last year?

last year... Bellville was unbeatable by Columbia... oh yeah... Columbia won that game... and didn't Sweeny lose in the 1st round last year... oh no they did not... all year district 23 talks about how tough, strong and great their district is and then district 24 seems to take 2 out of 3...
this year could be different, but history has taught me that anything can happen, anything... but let distrcit 23 keep taughting how tough theyare and let the chips fall where they may come playoff time...

congrats to the Jays

btw... wazzzup Crop...
