Volleyball playoffs...on the radio??? [Archive]

Does any one else broadcast v-ball matches???

KXOX has broadcast our Lady's the last 3 years..at least in the playoffs!!!!

Sweetwater is Tri-Champ ...but lost out in the playoff for seeding and is a 2nd seed.

The good thing is they play a 3rd seed (Levelland)..I think that is good????

The Bad thing is if they win they play Monahans next!!!

My good friend and Broadcast partner is doing a fine job of the major change from Football to Vollyball!!!!

I guess he didn't need a "sideline" reporter when he is already sitting courtside!!!

????...Soundin that way....from what we heard earlier the folks from Loboe Land had better thangs to do tonite and where not at match....they will set the next one after tomorrow.......Could be some game show on TV tonight???

I guess if I was from Monahans and a volleyball coach I wouldn't really be worried about Sweetwater either, and that is the type of attitude that gets folks in trouble.
I say make Monahans drive to Lubbock or San Angelo.

I say make Monahans drive to Lubbock or San Angelo. You won,t bother em makin em drive to either of those towns. They play at both of them sevarel times a year. Lubbock is almost their second home the last few years.

Kermit is a 2a team 20 miles north of here . Maybe practice for both teams since both made it to play-offs. Our coach doesn't let these girls slow down very often.

Monahans does play the winner of Sweetwater and Levelland, which is Sweetwater I assume after reading this post. Should be a good game.

The Lady Loboes are rightfully the best team from Region 1 the past several years......they played hard and play right...so the best to the winner...

Yeah they have had some good talent the last few years and the coach's really push these girls hard. From jr.high all the way up.

The Lady Loboes had a practice game last night in Monahans against Kermit. I have no doubt that Coach Dominguez had someone at the Sweetwater/Levelland match, and just prefered to have the team on the court in a practice game. I heard the Monahans/Sweetwater game might be in Big Spring on Saturday afternoon. Good luck to both teams, but I gotta say, "GO LADY LOBOES!"

They will play Saturday at 4pm, Big Spring High.

Sportsgram will be covering Royse City in the playoff when it does not conflict with our coverage of RC Football. RC had a bye the first round as the winner for 10-3A.

Actually.....I think he was thinking of what "USED" to happen to our buses in Big Spring!!!

But this is not football and we are not playing Big Spring!!!:D :clap:

I know both teams will bring lots of class to the net.....I just hope the ladies from Monahans will share that Region 1 wealth around a little bit!!!
