I was just thinking, it would be nice to have a GIANT preseason 3a tournament. The Combined Beaumont Complex has, I believe, 27 Softball Fields and a Host of good HS and Lamar's Baseball fields, close at hand!...Why all the teams that placed 1st, 2nd, 3rd in their District, would automatically receive an invitation and any others interested could apply to fill the remaining spots! Now that would be one great Friday-Saturday Event! Folks like Larry Bodin, Doug Recio, Kendall Scales,3A Down Low Staff, Kane Underwood, Robert Verde, Randy Ragsdale, Shorty DeQuir, Wendy Weiss,Kent Guidry, Marcie Anderson, Sissy Lemons, Tommy Voss, Mark Conner, Sam Moore,Larry Fountain, Phillip Tadora, Jeff Mathews, and I am sure a lot of others, are all capable of putting an organizational group together to pull this off! Well I can dream can't I!
