Fairfield is bigger than Kirbyville but I think Kirbyville has more speed. I think it will come down to turnovers and time of possession. Fairfields noseguard is quick off the ball but kirbyvilles center is pretty tough also, should be a good matchup. Lest just hope that #6 can go off like he did against Diboll. Lets hope he is "FEELING IT" (saw the channel 12 news interview) friday night. good luck Cats, and congrad's on making the playoffs.

That nose tackle from Fairfield had to be helped off the field with 13 seconds to go friday night against Madisonville. Don't know what shape he is in.

I have the utmost admiration for BOTH of these teams. You both really pulled yourselves up by the bootstraps to become Playoff participants! Whoever wins or loses should be proud of your accomplishments this season

It's going to be an exciting game. Both teams are talented and I agree that it is going to come down to turnovers. My opinion is that Kirbyville, with its big edge in speed will pull it out. My
prediction

Fairfield 20

Can stop one but cant stop'em both

Kirbyville has come a long way from last yr. and I think they have a good chance to win the first round. They will have to play mistake free ball and have no turnovers in order to make it to round 2. Saw the Kirbyville QB on tv Sunday night and he was already talking about playing Newton in round 4. He better be thinking about how to win round 1.

Rock I hope you are feeling it Friday, and tell #2 to hold on to the damn ball!! I hope you guys beat them, myself and the original #7 eill be in the stands cheering you guys on. Where are you at Rock6? I sure hope practice is going well this week. The golden boy and I are looking forward to seeing a Kirbyville victory this friday night. One post said that the noseguard from Fairfield is ok so #55 will have his hands full, tell him to get ready. can't wait to see that "Latino Heat" when #6 turns on the burners Friday. Go Cats!!!

fairfield is solid on D. w/a sr & soph. plugging almost anything up middle. 2 DEs that are strong and quick. best of luck to fairfield.

Last night i was in my room thinking about the game and I drifted off the sleep... And I hade a dream that Kirbyville beat Fairfield 13-7, but I woke up kind of sad because I know we will beat them way more than that.

I really don't know what Kirbyville's got but they got have to be really tough to pull it off over Fairfield...watch for #11 and #40 on the eagles
