Man, Burnet must be pretty good considering every team feels like they need to make themselves feel good about how succesfull they are by comparing themselves to us.....geemanie! Really, we've gotta be good! Come on Kennendale, next up to compare is, ooooh, let me see, UT or OU!

I think an Ennis/Burnet game would start out as a barn-burner but Ennis would trail off in the end (just like they did against Denton-Ryan, they kept up as long as they could but got blasted)...

Ennis win it in 5A?

I honestly believe they could...

Um......at least you don't hear us COMPARING to other schools bands! Thanks for compairing us to them anyways! Good compairason! We would do fine against them :-) You happen to be the one who started with the post gloating so don't lecture me!

Ennis being 4A could likely play a decent game with most anybody. But, I don't think they could beat some of the better 5A teams like Lufkin, Tyler Lee, Longview, Southlake Carrol, Galena Park North Shore, Copperas Cove, and I probably left a few out. And I don't think Ennis would blow out Burnet. They might beat Burnet, but I doubt it would be a blow out. I would imagine that Ennis would have their hands full with other 4A teams like Brownwood, Texarkana, and Highland Park, just to name a few. There's a reason for the different classifications, but it's fun to speculate. Just my take.

Ennis is probably the best team in the state regardless of classification, remember in 2001 they blew out SL Carrol in the semifinals and then last year SL Carrol won state in 5a, just a little thought, Ennis has tons of talent, I would be interested to see if someone could beat them this year

My 3A Downlow family, this is a 4A school, but if you get a chance to see this team, by all means do so, If you enjoy highschool football, and you are impressed with Burnet's program, you will be amazed with Ennis, trust me!

I am really hopin that Marshall makes the playoffs....this would send Texas High into the Div II playoff bracket...and a Texas High-Ennis matchup would be GREAT...the Texas High School attendence record could be in jeopardy if those 2 meet up...
