texas still has a great opportunity to finish in the top ten and get 10 wins, which is quite an accomplishment for a down year

what a strange year for college football

does anyone really think BC should be picked over LSU for the national title game?

Absolutely not. LSU deserves it I think. Of course they have had a few close games and a loss but the SEC is hardcore.

i know there are a few undefeated teams but LSU is the best team in the country. ohio state should be undefeated because they havent played anyone. i will be very mad if LSU is left out for BC or anyone else

LSU would roll BC

South Carolina and Virginia both lost as well. Texas should creep up a little bit in the polls.

I know I know, they probably dont deserve it, but who does this year?

If BC and tOSU finish undefeated and LSU has one loss then LSU should get in the game. Probably won't, but LSU and tOSU deserve to be there if they win out. Terrible terrible system the NCAA uses.

Well, every time I talk with an Aggie they say, "We should always be a top 25 team!" :D

Benny, I wouldn't be talking too much, seeing how Tech hasn't won since their "Super Bowl"

Well, that is the amazing thing about being realistic.

True. Tech SHOULD be a top-25 team. They're certainly good enough. Problem is, they always have a let down after the A&M game. It would be nice if they put as much intensity into ALL the games as they do for A&M.

And what was up with the empty seats yesterday? only 49,000? That place should have been packed.

IMO. Tech does about as much as they can with the talent they are able to recruit. Their offense gets a few talented players and it also develops a few, but they generally get worn down by the season as they try to grind out a Big XII season.

I do think they should have two more wins this season, but that is why you play the games. And when you look at Tech's Big XII schedule, there really are only two games where I absolutely expect a win this season.

However, if I were Texas, I would be a little bit worried about this year's Tech team.

And as far as 49,000 goes. I think it is a function of how Tech did their packages this year.

I had four weekends slated for college football this season. And one was wasted on Parent's weekend and I used another to go to Stillwater for the Big XII opener.

For me, just like when I was in school, I love Lubbock, but that drive is murder. :(
