As usual, Dan Hooks and Cornell Thompson have reloaded again. We just need to thank the school that Thompson went to for a couple of years, before he returned to WOS. I understand they didn't like him very much. HA! They must not like to win either!

WOS came out in the second half and ran it straight down Jasper's throat. They simplified the offense and won the battle at the line of scrimmage, plain and simple.

One thing I didn't understand from Jasper's coach. WOS comes out and scores (rather easily) on their first two possessions in the second half. Jasper has the ball at midfield with 10 minutes to go in the 4th and down by 14. It's 4th and 2. Jasper punts? That doesn't make any sense to me. Hindsight always being 20/20, WOS runs the punt back for a TD so Jasper should have definitely gone for it.

I also was surprised at the move considering how WOS had successfully killed time on the clock. Even if pinning WOS deep had worked, they most likely would have taken several minutes off the clock before giving the ball back. With Jasper's now explosive offense, I thoght for sure they would have gone for it in that situation; and then tried an onside kick if Jasper had scored. Down 14 points to a team like WOS, you have to play to win. But, hey, I don't have to make those decisions. ;)
