I said the big plays would return this week! Hutto had no answer for the sweeps. Gonzo had 6 carries for 200 yards. We could have run outside all night and easily have put up 70. Pounding away with Allman in the second half kept the scoring down. I wish we could have gotten the shutout, though. First team D deserved it. Hutto only had 150 yards of offense and I'd say around 50 of that came in the fourth against the second team.

It was a pretty good game overall. The offense is really starting to execute well, and the defense played with that intensity that has kind of been lacking. I don't know if I've ever seen our defense hit like they did tonight. I think our guys are sensing the playoffs nearing and decided to turn it up a notch. I'd sure like to see a couple of more performances like tonight's before heading into the playoffs.

GONZO had a huge game. 5 TDs. Over 200 yds rushing on 6 carries. 57 yd TD reception.
