Wimberley and Bandera played in Bandera tonight...really turned out to be a great game.
With around 4 minutes left, Wimberley was ahead 32-18. Kicked off to Bandera, who tried to throw the ball back across the field, and Wimberley caught it and brought it to the house. 38-18 Wimberley.
They kicked off, returned all the way back by Bandera. 38-24.
Attempted onside kick, Wimberley recovers. On third down of that drive, Wimberley fumbles. Bandera recovers. Around a minute left. Bandera hands off, 60 yard touchdown run. Two point conversion good. 38-32.
Bandera recovers onside kick. 29 seconds left. Failed pass attempt, then complete deep pass to the 7 yardline. 12 seconds left, complete a pass after a Wimberley DB falls over. Touchdown. Apparently, we dont have an extra point team. Failed 2 point conversion. Kickoff, guy tackled, thats the ball game.
