Two 5a powerhouses will be clashing at Shotwell Stadium in Abilene friday...

I know this is a 3a site, but I couldnt resist.

Both clubs are sporting undefeated records.

Permians win margain averages over 30 points per contest and Abilene's in around 17.

This game was even in SI this week.

Who u got???

I will pick Permian by 10...

I'll pull for Abilene. The MOJO fans are just downright annoying. Had the wonderful "pleasure" of being at a game down in San Antone when they played Copperas Cove. They acted offended that they'd be scheduled to play this no-name school to open their season. I still remember being down on the sidelines watching a psycho Permian fan going ballistic everytime Cove did something good.

Couldn't help but walk out of there laughing when MOJO lost that game and then again the next year up in Texas Stadium.

Both coaching staffs are first rate...permian has more impressive stats, but Abilene has played a tougher schedule. I'll go with Permian in a squeaker....

This will be my first time to ever attend a 5A game. I'm pulling for Abilene in a close one. Should be a heck of a game.

If Permian still has the same OL coach, they will control the line of scrimmage from the start and then pull away late for the win, 37-21

Id say go to the Sweetwater/Wylie game. Or thats what id do.

Just because Permians going to loose for sure, I just have a good feeling that are.

Abilene High has won the last 8 years..since Steve Warren has taken the helm...not sure if any of his assistants have changed??

Mojo has a lot of good things going for them......

I say A-High (that is what the KTXS sports guy call them!)...by 3...


Don't really have a dog in this hunt...my dog (not really a dog but a Mustang!!) will be about 45 miles West of the Big Game...:D :D :D

They have not the last 8 years and No One has beat A-High the 18 distirct games!!! Thats like the last 3-4 years...so Mojo has NOT ruled!!

I have nothing againts the Panthers..they have plenty of tradition ..just going with the locals and the team that has proven themselves the past 8 years or so!!
