Better hope he didn't come from Giddings or the coach will pitch such a fit that he won't be able to play.

Me thinks that'll last until he gets a good look at the Golden Bears and Kimball during district play. SOC still has Morgan and Kimball still has Chris Washburn's son who is just a sophomore. I do hope Adamson gets that third spot this season though in basketball. They were so close to it last season.

SOC is going to wind up, in my opinion, being the first DISD team to win 4 straight titles and the first to do it in any class since Snook pulled it off in the late 70's and early 80's. The only team right now who has a system in place that could give them fits is Samuell because they're playing 32 minutes of hell this year.

Regretfully, the next team that's going to make a big run in DISD resides just down the street from Madison. They won the battle to get the big fella that's about 6'8" and just a freshman (he plays small forward/shooting guard on top of that.) and they got a 6'5" guard (also a freshman) who would've been at Madison had they not lost their coach over the summer to Lancaster. The 6'8" kid, in one person's opinion, is the most talented player DISD has had since Larry Johnson.

i dont know where he came from. Our HC has been around a while so he knows about SOC and Kimball. You are right JR...they were REAL close to getting in last year and they are expecting big things this year!

Can't teach height. But, I have seen many tall guys who can't run & chew gum. Let us know if he can play. Best of luck.
