I know I should know this, but being an old 'broad' and all, but when do I get to start posting pictures and stuff on my posts?

You should be able to post pictures now (unless rules have changed in recent years)...see the "IMG" tag when you try to post...paste the direct link to the picture you're trying to post (right click properties on the pic and highlight the url of the pic, not the web address at the top of your browser). You get an avatar when you reach 1500 posts.

use this code without the spaces

(whatever the address is...should end in .jpg, .gif, .bmp or something like that)

the addresss should appear between the two IMG boxes without spaces.

I know....it will only go back to the date where the changeover took place....anything before that you just have to manually to search for!!!!!

I just ran across the underwater basket weaver thread!!

I think he we need a sticky for "classic" threads like that....that newcomers could look at and enjoy if they so wanted!!!!

by the way I finally saw the signature that got Emerson benched ..... I would love an "official" explantion as to what rule was broken with that - it was a pic of 3 pigs with one of the 3 X'd out ... pretty clever if you ask me :p

Okay- I want to be known as the stupid old lady on 3aD that could never figure out how to get pictures on her messages. That is how I am going to justify never being able to get it done. I am now a member of photobucket and have pictures on imageshack and for what- nothing.... is everyone proud because I know I am!!!!!!!!!!!

Every time I click on this thread I get a pop-up that said , "website certified by an unknown authority"....I noticed I was getting the same thing at home last night too.

Anyone else????

YES! I assumed it had something to do with the new sites that my work has blocked, but it's only happening on this thread.

You know! when I was trying to figure out how to post a picture, it kept telling me about an unkown authority. Maybe it was me RWB, and not you. Oh, what the heck.:thinking:

Guess I should have explained. Webmaster says this will happen when someone posts a direct link to a secure website. Our individual operating system security picks up on the fact it is an "unrecognized" site and might therefore be a security risk. It's harmless, just our own computers trying to protect us.
